Craven Museum & Gallery is a hidden gem in the market town of Skipton. Located in the Town Hall, it tells the story of Craven through the ages and hosts a programme of art exhibitions, workshops and family events.

Art Unpacked exhibitions will take place in the Gallery but while you’re there, why not visit the Museum as well.

Opening times
Exhibition Gallery open Monday – Saturday, 10.00am– 4.00pm

(The Museum is closed on Tuesdays for research and exhibition maintenance. )

Access

  • The Gallery is on the ground floor
  • The Museum is located on the first floor – because of ongoing changes to the building, unfortunately the stair lift is currently out of order.
  • Disabled parking spaces are located nearby
  • Accessible toilets and baby change facilities are available in the Town Hall

There are many cafes and restaurants in the area, and a café in the Town Hall on most  Wednesdays and Saturdays.
