Penny Davenport at North Bridlington Library

We had a fantastic time last month when Penny Davenport, whose work features in Truth and Fantasy, came from her home in Liverpool to Bridlington to encourage people to draw. In fact, the feedback was so positive we invited Penny to come back to Brid in half term. On Thursday 31 May Penny will be working with one of the groups that uses the library regularly and on Friday 1 June she’ll be in the library from 10 til 2 to chat to visitors and get them drawing. The session is not about teaching you how to draw, but encouraging you to put pen/pencil/charcoal/graphite/pastel to paper and see where your imagination takes you. Penny particularly encouraged people to work collaboratively with friends and family to add to each drawings and make new drawings that bring ideas to life. Just come along on Friday 1st June, anytime between 10 and 2 to North Bridlington Library. It’s free to take part and you can stay for as long as you want.
