Next stop: Thirsk

The Forest of Possibility

Our current exhibition is taking a short break after a successful visit to Craven Museum & Gallery in Skipton. We’ve had lots of  positive comments about the exhibition- one visitor described Davy and Kristin McGuire’s film ‘The Paper Architect’ as “a stunningly moving animation. Beautiful.”

If you missed it , we’re delighted that the organisers of  Skipton Puppet Festival got in touch to see if they could show the film at the festival, taking place 2nd-4th October this year.

Other visitors have been entranced by the  intricate paper cut birds by Claire Brewster – and some got the chancCB workshop 2e to make their own artworks when they took part in a workshop led by Claire.

The Forest of Possibility will be moving to its final stop on the tour next month, opening on Tuesday 4th August at The Courthouse, Thirsk. You can catch it there until the end of the month and if you’re inspired by the work on show, Claire will be visiting us again on Saturday 22 August – contact The Courthouse here to book a place as spaces are limited.
