Make it Slow opens in Pateley Bridge
Make it Slow is now open in No 6 Studio Gallery, Pateley Bridge- the fourth venue in the exhibition’s leisurely journey from Scarborough to Accrington. We’ve had a great response to the exhibition so far so if you haven’t seen it yet, you have until 6 August before it moves to The Old Courthouse in Thirsk, and finally to Accrington Library in September.
We also have some exciting events planned at No 6: a talk from acclaimed ceramicist Chris Keenan, talking about the development of his skills as a potter, beginning with his apprenticeship under Edmund de Waal. Then, an opportunity to develop some new skills of your own with braiding and embroidery artist Aimee Betts.
And if you’re visiting with children, they can enter our Spot the Art competition to win some fabulous art materials!
We’d love to know what you think- you can leave feedback here or on the sheet in the gallery.
